For centuries, honey has been a significant contributor to traditional medicine, widely used for its remedial qualities. The benefits of honey have been recorded by ancient Egyptians, Assyrians, Chinese, Greeks, and Romans, who used it to treat wounds and intestine-related diseases. Honey’s medicinal potency has also been inscribed in religious scriptures.
